Chris is a coaching and mentoring specialist with experience of working in a number of sectors and countries. He has been a university lecturer in Italy and Switzerland and worked for the British Council in Spain for several years.He has 20 plus years' experience of working for IT and Telecommunications companies as a senior HR professional and for the last 7 years headed the Human Resources department in a leading conservation charity.
Chris is particularly interested in developing mentoring in multi-cultural environments and how mentoring can support change management programmes. He sees mentoring as a key component of leadership development, talent management and onboarding initiatives.
Chris is an arts graduate with a degree in English and a Masters in Applied Linguistics. He is in his second year of studying for an MSc in Coaching and Mentoring at Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
Chris divides his time between Switzerland where his wife and daughter are based and Cornwall, UK where he and his brother have a small farm. He is passionately interested in Russian culture and visits Moscow - where his wife is from - and St Petersburg regularly.
